Recycled tarpaulin 611
When you pick “Recycled tarpaulin (from us)” in the configurator, this is the material: a lorry tarpaulin that is itself made from reprocessed raw materials. Not a used banner, but new stock made from old material.
What the 611 is
The 611 is a flat tarpaulin: a high-tenacity polyester fabric with a PVC coating and a lacquered outer face. The same material otherwise covers halls and lorry bodies.
It is made from recycled raw materials, and the PVC coating is also recycled material.
That is what sets it apart from upcycling your own banner: the 611 is new stock, only made from old material. It comes off the roll, in consistent quality and in any quantity you need.

Why every batch looks different
The coating is made from recycled PVC. Which tarpaulins were reprocessed for it decides the shade: every batch sits a little differently in the green-grey range, and surface and gloss can vary slightly too. The manufacturer states this explicitly in the data sheet.
That is not a defect but a consequence of the process. Within one production run the colour stays the same, because we cut from a single batch. Across two orders it cannot.
If you reorder later and need exactly the same shade, tell us beforehand. Then we clarify what is possible before production starts.
Why the tarpaulin stays flat
The 611 is built for dimensional stability: it hardly distorts and stays flat, even under tension. The manufacturer lists this exceptional flatness as one of its main properties.
On a bag you notice it at the edges. The material does not ripple along the seams, flaps lie flat, and the shape stays as it was for years.
Colours and your logo
green
grey
We offer the 611 in green and in grey. You choose between them directly in the configurator once you have picked our material.
Because the surface is a single colour, your logo comes into its own. Screen printing suits large, plain areas; digital printing suits multi-colour artwork.
When our material is the right choice
- You have no old material of your own but still want a bag made from recycled material.
- Your own material is not enough for the whole run.
- You need a consistent look across all the bags, because they go to customers or staff.
- Your artwork should be printed rather than come from an old banner.
If you do have your own material, every bag becomes a one-off carrying your original artwork.
